A 4-day Tantric festival at the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati, marking the goddess's annual menstruation. The temple is closed for 3 days (the goddess rests); on the 4th day it reopens with elaborate rituals. One of the most sacred Tantric pilgrimages in India.
