Who writes our astrology
The AstroSpeaks Vedic Science Team
Our compatibility and horoscope content is prepared by a team of Vedic astrologers, practising pundits, and researchers who decode the classical śāstras with modern tools. Every reading is grounded in the same Vedic method — not opinion, not guesswork.
Who we are
The team brings together traditional Jyotisha training and years of chart work with a research approach that applies AI/ML to the classical texts. Practising pundits guide the interpretation of Moon-sign and Kundali matching; the research side keeps the calculations consistent and reproducible across every pairing we cover. We publish under a team byline today and will introduce individual, credentialed authors as the library grows.
How we assess compatibility
We are transparent about method, and we label it on every page:
- Vedic / Moon-sign (Rashi): the classical Ashtakoot Guna Milan — the 36-point, eight-koota system (Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot, Nadi) — read against the couple’s Moon signs, with Mangal Dosha and Nakshatra-level nuance where relevant.
- Western / Sun-sign: element, modality and planetary-ruler synastry — the psychological colour of a pairing. We keep this distinct from the Vedic reading rather than blending the two.
For a reading anchored to your own birth chart, use the free Ashtakoot compatibility check — it computes your 36-point score from both birth details.
Our editorial standards
- Every pairing is written specifically — no generic template swapped between signs.
- We describe tendencies, not fate. Compatibility is guidance for understanding, never a verdict on a relationship.
- Remedies we mention come from the classical tradition, framed as supportive practice.
- Pages carry a review date and are updated as our interpretation deepens.
