Why do you recommend video for first-time consultations?
When you're new to consulting an astrologer, having them visually walk you through your chart — pointing at the houses, marking up the dasha — makes the reading land. You learn the chart, not just hear about it. After your first deep dive, many users switch to audio for routine check-ins.
Why is video more expensive than audio?
Video sessions require more astrologer attention (visual signals, screen-share, no parallel sessions, more bandwidth). The price reflects that — most users find the chart-sharing feature alone worth the upgrade for first deep dives or major life decisions.
What if my internet is bad?
In-app video automatically downgrades to audio-only if bandwidth drops, and back up when it recovers. If video can't be re-established for more than 5 minutes, you can request a partial refund or convert the session to an audio call (we'll refund the difference).
Can I record the session?
Yes — opt-in for both you and the astrologer. Recording is off by default. If both consent, the full video is saved to /my-reports and you can watch / download / share later.
Do I need a special device or app?
No. Video runs in-browser (desktop) or in-app (mobile). Standard webcam + WiFi is enough. No Zoom, no Meet, no third-party install required.
Is the astrologer always on camera?
Astrologer must be on camera (it's a video session). You can choose audio-only on your end if you prefer privacy — many users do this for sensitive discussions. The astrologer still talks face-to-face; you just listen + watch.
