How long is a chat session?
15 minutes from when the astrologer sends their first message. The timer pauses if the astrologer is composing a response (so a long thoughtful answer doesn't eat your time). 15 minutes is a focused window — most users get 4-6 well-framed questions answered.
Can I save the chat?
Yes — automatically. The full conversation is saved to /my-reports and you can download or share it any time.
Can I send a photo of my chart or palm?
Yes. Image attachments are supported — your chart screenshot, palm photo, gemstone photo, anything visual the astrologer needs to read your situation.
What if the astrologer takes too long to respond?
The timer auto-pauses while they're typing. If they go idle for more than 3 minutes without typing, the session is paused for you to flag or end. Sessions paused this way can be resumed if the astrologer returns.
Why is chat cheaper than audio?
Two reasons. First, chat is shorter (15 min vs 30 min for audio). Second, astrologers can handle more chat sessions in parallel than calls (chat has natural pauses, voice doesn't). The lower per-session rate reflects both.
Are chats end-to-end encrypted?
Chat traffic is TLS-encrypted in transit. Stored transcripts are encrypted at rest. Only you and the astrologer can read your messages — not even our support staff, unless you explicitly grant access during a complaint review.
